CASI - Ice Capades in Antarctica

Today for school we had CASI :( Our story for CASI was an article by Rachel Bakker, called Ice Capades in Antarctica. I didn't like writing about it, but I admit that the story was pretty interesting. It was about an Ontario student named Rachel Bakker, who joined and organization called SOI( Students On Ice) and got an experience of a lifetime. She and 40 other students from around the world got to go to Antarctica and study the animals there, while getting an extraordinary experience, being able to see penguins, seals, whales, and oddly shaped icebergs.
The story reminded how precious the world really is, and how we're taking advantage of it. Places like Antarctica are getting destroyed by global warming, and we should really stop that.

This is my first post :)

I have no idea what to write, I guess I'll tell you a little about me. My favourite subject is art. My favourite colours are black, gray, purple, navy blue, red and green. Chipmunks, rabbits and dogs are only a few of my favourite animals :) My favourite bands are Stereos, Faber Drive and Simple Plan.
My teacher said I could talk about hippos in the jungle. Do you really believe that hippos can survive in the jungle? The Amazon is really different from Africa, where I believe they originated from. Do you think hippos can really live there?
Before I leave, check out the book Scat. It's a really good book, especially if you care about endangered species ;)
